Biography
Demised is a metal band that wanders among melancholy and strength, trying to pass on the connection with nature, hope, life and death. Formed by vocalist/guitarist Andrés Pestana and drummer Adrián Hidalgo in 1996, the band was born under the influence of death metal, an extreme sound that related the human being’s decay. First release was “Panthalasa” (1998), with only four tracks of pure old school death metal, followed by “Between the Ashes and the Silence” (1999). It wasn't until 2007 that they recorded “Cold”, a more intricate, technical and darker style with vocalist Juan Antonio (Exquisite Pus), vocalist/guitarist Andrés Pestana, drummer Adrián Hidalgo, guitarist Alex Yuste (Hole Of Mankind, O Myserum Mane, Land Of Mordor) and bassist Pedro Asensio (Exquisite Pus), playing live this time with top bands such as Gorefest, Belphegor, Necrophagist, Incantation, Avulsed and many others. Nowadays, its music has turned into a more atmospheric, gloomy and gothic metal with clean voices. The new album "A warm place to stay", now with Paco Porcel (Amalthea, Nahemah, The Holeum) on bass guitar, will see the light of day in 2017 through Wormholedeath Records/Aural Music.

Demised es una banda de metal que vaga entre la melancolía y la fuerza, tratando de transmitir la conexión con la naturaleza, la esperanza, la vida y la muerte. Formado por el vocalista y guitarrista Andrés Pestana y el baterista Adrián Hidalgo en 1996, la banda nació bajo la influencia de death metal, un sonido extremo que relacionaba la decadencia del ser humano. El primer lanzamiento fue "Panthalasa" (1998), con sólo cuatro pistas de puro death metal de la vieja escuela, seguido de "Entre las cenizas y el silencio" (1999). No fue hasta 2007 que grabaron "Cold", un estilo más intrincado, técnico y oscuro con el vocalista Juan Antonio (Exquisito Pus), el vocalista / guitarrista Andrés Pestana, el baterista Adrián Hidalgo, el guitarrista Alex Yuste (Hole Of Mankind, O Myserum Mane, Land Of Mordor) y el bajista Pedro Asensio (Exquisite Pus), tocando en vivo esta vez con bandas como Gorefest, Belphegor, Necrophagist, Incantation, Avulsed y muchos otros. Hoy en día, su música se ha convertido en un metal más atmosférico, sombrío y gótico con voces limpias. El nuevo disco "A warm place to stay", ahora con Paco Porcel (Amalthea, Nahemah, The Holeum) en el bajo, verá la luz del día en 2017 a través de Wormholedeath Records / Aural Music
