Desde Polonia, los metaleros de Death / Black Epic; DEVILISH IMPRESSIONS lanzarán su nuevo álbum, "The I" el 22 de septiembre de 2017 a través de Lifeforce Records / publicación de Wormholedeath. El álbum estará disponible como CD digipak, LP de vinilo limitado y descarga digital.
Grabado en varios estudios, incluyendo Dobra12 (batería) e Icaros Studio (guitarras), el disco fue mezclado y masterizado en el impresionante estudio de arte de Przemyslaw Nowak, quien también manejó sesiones de grabación de vocales y re-amputación de guitarras. El álbum cuenta con presentaciones especiales de MERCYFUL FATE / KING DIAMOND guitarrista Mike Wead y por los maestros del Black Metal Noruego AETERNUS vocalista / guitarrista Ares. Otros artistas que también contribuyeron al registro son el ritual shamanic el acto experimental meditativo BÖN y el dueño Przemyslaw Nowak del estudio impresionante del arte que vino para arriba con los interludios, las melodías y los efectos de fondo adicionales.
"Ha sido un largo camino para poder finalmente arreglar todo, incontables noches dedicadas a escribir la música y las letras primero, luego trabajar en la preproducción del álbum, seguido de lo que parecía ser interminables sesiones de grabación apropiadas , Y los tonos del trabajo que tenía que ser hecho para la venta después. Realmente queríamos que este nuevo álbum se convirtiera en algo realmente especial y por lo tanto, para evitar decisiones arbitrarias, los dejamos salir de nosotros suavemente, sin ponernos bajo ninguna tensión externa y cosas así. ¿Pagó? Bueno, ya veremos ... Seguramente nos sacudimos los culos, empujamos las cosas de un lado a otro para sacar lo mejor de él. Como resultado, tenemos algo de lo que estamos muy orgullosos, algo que creemos supera en todos los niveles posibles todo lo que hemos hecho en el pasado. Simplemente creo que nos habíamos superado y grabado algo que hará que su corazón late más rápido ... "- comenta Quazarre, el compositor de la banda, vocalista y guitarrista.
El título elegido, "The I", para el registro no sólo es una sigla fonética del nombre de la banda, sino que sobre todo refleja el manifiesto que representan desde la creación de la Horda en el año 2000 - la noción de libertad de elección y voluntad . Una supremacía de un individuo sobre cualquier factor externo que nos sea impuesto por otros, con especial énfasis en la religión y sus convicciones, dogmas y paradigmas. "El Yo" es un manifiesto rebelde dirigido contra todos aquellos que se oponen a cualquier cosa que nos conduzca hacia la perfección individual.

Recorded at various studios, including Dobra12 (drums) and Icaros Studio (guitars) the disc was mixed and mastered at Impressive Art Studio by Przemyslaw Nowak who also handled vocals recording sessions and guitars’ re-amping. The album features special guest appearances by MERCYFUL FATE / KING DIAMOND’s guitarist Mike Wead and by Norway’s dark metal masters AETERNUS’ vocalist / guitarist Ares. Other artists who also contributed to the record are shamanic ritual meditative experimental actBÖN and Impressive Art Studio’s owner Przemyslaw Nowak who came up with interludes, additional background tunes and effects.
“It’s been a really long way to be finally able to wrap it all up, countless nights spent on writing the music and lyrics first, then working on the album’s pre-production, followed by what seemed to be never-ending, proper recording sessions, and tones of work that had to be done for the band afterwards. We really wanted this new album to become something really special and therefore, to avoid any haphazard decisions, we let them come out of us smoothly, without putting ourselves under any external tension and stuff. Did it pay off? Well, we’ll see… We surely worked our asses off, pushed things back and forth to get the best out of it. As a result we’ve got something we are damn proud of, something that we believe surpasses on all possible levels everything we’ve done in the past. I simply believe we’d outdone ourselves and recorded something that will cause your hearts beat faster…” – comments Quazarre, the band’s composer, vocalist and guitarist.
The title chosen, “The I”, for the record is not only a phonetic acronym of the band’s name, but above all it reflects the manifesto they stand for since the Horde’s inception in the year 2000 – the notion of freedom of choice and will. A supremacy of an individual over any external factors being imposed on us by others, with special emphasis on religion and its convictions, dogmas and paradigms. “The I” is a rebellious manifesto targeted against all those who stand opposed to anything that drives us towards individual perfection.
