Entre lugares místicos y historias antiguas, Astray Valley es una banda conceptual de Metal Moderno nacida en 2014 en Barcelona, España. Formada por la vocalista Clau Violette, el guitarrista Joan Aneris, el bajista Jorge Romero y el baterista Erny Roca, la banda ha sido influenciada por muchas bandas que van desde death metal hasta metal progresivo y metalcore moderno, creando su propia identidad y tema y hablando de historias que se relacionan La mente humana y el comportamiento con el mundo.
Astray Valley ha participado en giras internacionales con bandas como The Agonist o Jinjer y ha participado en numerosos festivales como Rock Fest Barcelona 2017, compartiendo escenario con bandas legendarias como Aerosmith, Alice Cooper, Deep Purple, Avantasia , Alter Bridge, Ensiferum, y muchos más.

Leicester-based alt-prog band Final Coil are proud to unleash the performance video for the song "You Waste My Time", taken from their debut album "Persistence of Memory", which is also out today through all the best digital stores via Wormholedeath / The Orchard.

‘You waste my time’ is the epic second single to be released from Final Coil’s forthcoming debut album ‘Persistence of Memory’, which is set to be released worldwide via WormHoleDeath Records. Mixed by Wahoomi Corvi of Real Sound Studios and mastered by Magnus Lindberg (Cult of Luna), ‘Persistence of Memory’ is a richly varied album that provides the perfect introduction to the band.
An energetic track, ‘You waste my time’ showcases the band’s more experimental side with synth drums, intricate vocal harmonies and deftly interwoven guitar lines all drawing the listener towards a pummelling finale that blazes with unexpected fury. A perfect example of the band’s dynamic and ever-evolving sound, ‘You waste my time’ pulses with energy and yet retains the melodic depth that sits at the core of the band’s song-writing.
The video, captured by Jay Hillyer (Cabin Boy Jumped Ship) sees Final Coil continue to seek out creative and talented individuals with whom to work, having previously collaborated with Andy Pilkington (Flotsam and Jetsam) on the stunning lyric video for ‘corruption’, and the result is a beautifully rendered clip that captures the raw energy of the band’s live performance and adds a darkly cinematic edge reminiscent of clips by A Perfect Circle, Alice in Chains and Soundgarden. Filmed at Palmers Garden Centre in Enderby (during working hours, much to the bemusement of staff and customers alike), the clip provides what will be, for many, a first glimpse of Final Coil.

Between mystical places and ancient stories, Astray Valley is a conceptual Modern Metal band born in 2014 in Barcelona, Spain. Formed by frontwoman Clau Violette, guitarist Joan Aneris, bassist Jorge Romero and drummer Erny Roca, the band has been influenced by many bands ranging from death metal to progressive metal and modern metalcore, creating their own identity and theme, and talking about stories that relate the human mind and behavior with the world.
Despite being a young band, Astray Valley has taken part in international tours with bands like The Agonist or Jinjer, and played many shows and festivals including Rock Fest Barcelona 2017, sharing stage with legendary bands such as Aerosmith, Alice Cooper, Deep Purple, Avantasia, Alter Bridge, Ensiferum, and many more.
